Honey and Better

Honey & Better have become inseparable since meeting at Maramba Farm. Often found grazing side by side, Better is especially protective of Honey, and they clearly enjoy the comfort of each other’s company.

Honey arrived at ZWDP as a tiny foal alongside her mother, Nana, in 2020. After sadly losing Nana, Honey found companionship with Better. Better was rescued from a local market with his mate Belinda, carrying painful wounds from years of pulling heavy carts. Today, Better is safe and slowly learning to trust people, while Honey is growing into a friendly young lady. Together, they have found a special friendship and a safe place to call home.
