Lucky and Chief

Lucky & Chief are two very special donkeys who have found comfort and companionship in each other. Chief is gentle and peaceful, with a curious spirit and remarkable resilience. Rescued in 2024 after suffering a severe leg injury, he has made an incredible recovery. Lucky was found alone on a highway after being struck by a vehicle and left with a fractured pelvis. She is also partially blind and relies on Chief to help guide her, trusting him to lead the way. Today, they enjoy their days together, surrounded by the safety of the herd and the comfort of their special friendship.
